The short version
The Abracadabra server and SDKs are open source under the MIT License. The license text governs your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the software. These terms cover the abr.ac website and the public demo — not the code, which is governed solely by its LICENSE file.
The software
Abracadabra (the server and the official SDKs) is provided under the MIT License. You can read the full text at github.com/iojanis/Abracadabra. As stated there, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for how you deploy and operate it.
CouShell, the collaborative workspace app built on Abracadabra, is a separate product with its own terms and is not covered here.
This website
The abr.ac site and its content are provided for informational purposes. We may change, add, or remove pages and links at any time. Code samples and configuration shown here are illustrative; verify them against the current documentation and source before relying on them in production.
The public demo
The demo at demo.abr.ac is a shared, best-effort sandbox with no uptime guarantee. Content there may be reset, rate-limited, or removed without notice. Do not store anything private, sensitive, or important in the public demo. Do not use it to attack, overload, or disrupt the service or other users.
Acceptable use
When using this site or the demo, do not attempt to breach security, exfiltrate data belonging to others, distribute malware, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict or remove access to the hosted site and demo to protect the service and its users.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The website and demo are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, the demo, or the software.
