A server
of your own.
of your own.
One subdomain.
The whole platform.
Point every app at yourname.abr.ac — CouShell, the browser, native mobile, AI agents over MCP. Your server syncs them all in real time, and the Arcana console gives you the controls.

Not a seat in someone else's cloud — a dedicated instance with its own container and its own database, running the full platform: real-time CRDT sync, spaces, chat, uploads, permissions, extension hooks.
- Dedicated — your subdomain, your container, your database. No shared tenants.
- Your rules — registration, invite-only, anonymous access, upload caps, snapshots.
- SQLite managed for you — or point it at your own Postgres.
- No lock-in — the same open-source server you can self-host. Export and leave anytime.
Arcana. Your admin console, included.
Every managed server comes wired to a hosted Arcana instance — the open-source admin console for Abracadabra. Redeem your admin invite and run the whole place from a browser.
- Users, invites, and roles — promote, unlock, reset, revoke.
- Document tree with a full permissions inspector, snapshots, and restore.
- Tamper-evident audit log and live Prometheus metrics.
- Edit runtime config in the browser — changes apply live, no restarts.
Kept current. Never broken.
New server builds roll out across the fleet health-gated: pulled, recreated, and checked before they count. A build that fails its health check rolls itself back — your server stays on the last good version, still running.
- Server updates land fleet-wide from the control plane — you never patch anything.
- Health-gated with automatic rollback — a bad build reverts before you notice it.
- Every instance is health-checked around the clock, once a minute.
- TLS on your subdomain — issued and renewed automatically.

Plans size your server's hardware — vCPU, memory, storage — never your team. Accounts are unlimited on every plan, and roles decide who can do what. Your bill doesn't move when your team grows.
Same price at 5 users. Same price at 500.
Runners do the busywork.
Services that sign in to your server like a teammate — with their own scoped identity, touching only the documents you grant — then observe and act. Bridge your inbox into a doc, summarize meetings with AI, run scheduled jobs, attach live terminals.
- Scoped identity — a runner is a user with exactly the access you grant.
- Observe & act — runners watch documents and write results back in real time.
- Capability-gated — each runner declares what it needs; nothing more is available to it.
- Managed — runners run alongside your server, with nothing extra for you to babysit.
imapllmcronptyPick a size. Everything's included.
Every plan is the full platform on a dedicated server. Sizes set the hardware underneath — your team, and what it can do, is never metered.
Everything else.

What exactly am I getting?
A dedicated Abracadabra server on your own subdomain — the same open-source binary you can self-host — plus a hosted Arcana admin console wired to it. Your own instance, your own database, no shared tenants.
How do I administer my server?
Through Arcana, in the browser. Users, invites, roles, document permissions, audit log, metrics, and runtime config — changes apply live. Your welcome email contains the admin invite you redeem there.
How many users can I have?
As many as you like, on every plan. Plans size the hardware your server runs on — vCPU, memory, storage — not your team. There is no per-seat pricing.
How do server updates work?
New builds roll out from our control plane: your instance is recreated on the new image and must pass its health check before the upgrade counts. If it fails, it rolls back to the previous version automatically.
What about snapshots?
Document snapshots are a built-in server feature — enabled by default on your instance, browsable and restorable from Arcana. You can toggle them at launch or later.
What are Runners?
Services that sign in to your server under a scoped identity to observe documents and act — mail bridges, AI assistants, scheduled jobs, live terminals. They attach to your managed server as add-ons.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, self-serve. Your account dashboard has a Stripe billing portal, and deleting a server cancels its subscription on the spot.
Can I migrate away?
Yes. Abracadabra (server + SDKs) is fully open source and self-hostable. We give you a database dump and upload archive on request — point the self-hosted binary at them and you own your stack.
Where is my data stored?
In Frankfurt, EU — EU data residency by default, GDPR-friendly, data processing agreement on request. More regions are on the roadmap.
What's the CouShell perk?
Your first server rental includes a CouShell licence — the €15 desktop app, granted automatically and emailed to you with your welcome mail.
Can I use a custom domain?
Not yet. Your server lives at yourname.abr.ac for now. Custom domains with managed TLS are on the roadmap.
SQLite or Postgres?
Your choice at launch time. We manage a SQLite database for you by default, or you point the server at your own Postgres — it stays yours either way.
